Prof. Pia Otte
Prof. Pia Piroschka Otte is a Senior Researcher (Researcher I) at Ruralis – the Institute for Rural and Regional Research. She is a social scientist, and her research focuses on sustainable business models and alternative financing for climate measures in agriculture, with a strong emphasis on soil health.
Pia is committed to putting research into practice and has led several international research projects.
During this year's Jord❤️Festival, Pia will talk about the ClimateCropping project, where they are researching what it takes for farmers to use tillage methods that improve soil health.
