Maud Astrid Amundsen
Maud Astrid Amundsen er utdannet jurist og ufaglært kokk. Hun er halvt uruguayaner – opprinnelig fra Hønefoss, og bor i Ringerike på bygda, hvor de har et «mikro-bruk» med høner, ender, bier, hunder og kjøkkenhage med fokus på å bli mest mulig sjølberga med egg, honning, frukt, grønnsaker og ville vekster.
Committed raw materials activist, food writer, multi-tasker, beekeeper and edible plant expert with a focus on self-sufficiency, foraging, hunting/fishing, kitchen gardening, local seasonal food, organic and regenerative cultivation, preservation, processing, utilisation of whole ingredients and minimal food waste. Together with her husband, a graphic designer, they run the website and sole proprietorship www.reinmat.no with communication on social media, courses, lectures and events focusing on the above. They both take photographs.
